I’ve been purchasing modern oil paintings for a show in my studio.

I found a painting called Hamlet in winter in a personal collection in Illinois. The artist was Fern Isabel Coppedge and she was an Yank. I liked the piece thanks to the snowy scene. While on a purchasing trip, I found Clouds Over Buckingham. This was a very pleasant modern oil painting that was in a personal collection in Pennsylvania. I have seen work by this artist before and it usually resells very well. Buying modern oil paintings has taken me to assorted places across the U. S. I was purchasing modern oil paintings and found one from a French artist named Georges Antoine Rochegrosse that I actually liked. I liked it and think it will do well in the show. I find that I will buy modern oil paintings terribly efficiently online. I found an art dealer in the United Kingdom that discovers me some nice items to show. Lately , he sent me a painting of a naked beauty by British artist Allan Douglas Davidson.

The modern oil painting outlined a young Bohemian lady wearing only flowers in her hair. She is posed against a dark background which illuminates the perfection of her creamy skin. This was one of the most pretty modern oil paintings that I’ve found. The detail was outstanding and the illustration of the blooming rose was astounding. I was so fortunate when I found an original Max Ernst modern oil painting. The title of the piece I found was Arizona Desert. I actually think it will do nicely in my show and I did not even pay half what I suspect it is truly worth. I found a modern oil painting by the Spanish artist Grifoll that I liked. I am not sure how well this painting of a clown will sell, but I liked it and I suspect that there’s certain to be someone that just cannot live without it.

I do not even care about the period or the style.

I was capable of finding a very pleasant modern oil painting by Edouard Cortes for my show. I feel a bit like I am in turn of the century Paris when I look into it for a considerable time.

There are lots of modern oil paintings that outline roses. I plan to have a grouping of many at my show.

I was able to get a painting by Theresa Bernstein called Roses that she painted in the 1940s. She lived to be 111 years of age and that is pretty wonderful. I actually don’t like nautical paintings and do not need them in my show. I’ve had many chums implore me to modify my mind. I keep being told that I will not probably have a show of modern oil paintings that doesn’t include a ship. I had an aid bring in a modern oil painting that had an interesting history. It was more due to the history of the painting that I determined to hang it than due to its content. The ship scene was truly not to my liking, but I acquired it anyhow. I’ve been attempting to find an antique street scene painted by Bettylane Resnik. I saw a modern oil painting by her in a skill catalogue that outlined a fairly colorful street scene. I can not seem to find this owner, but I am trying.
